Magnet (STASH 1 / AMBUSH)
Hey there Stonerds! One of the top Ambush cards released with the Kickstarter set, Magnet is a card you’ll want in your Stash. Similar to Switcheroo, Magnet is another showstopper card that can be used to disrupt your opponent’s plan and/or save one of your Beasts. Magnet differs in you can only change the target to another one of your own CannaBeasts.
Playing Magnet on your turn on a strong defensive CannaBeast can prevent your opponent from attacking any of your other Beasts while you destroy theirs or set up a winning strategy.
Ideal Scenario: Player 1 has a Yule Log (265 defense) on the field. Player 2 has a Zushi (230 attack) on the field.
Player 1 plays a Magnet on Yule Log preventing Player 2 from attacking any other CannaBeast. Player 1 can now safely plant other Beasts without worry they will be destroyed. This can help Player 1 get their field filled out possibly able to prevent their opponent from doing the same.
On your opponent’s turn If they declare an attack or attempt to use a card effect on one of your Beasts you can play Magnet, it being an Ambush card, and change the target to another Beast of yours.
Ideal Scenario: Player 1 has The Brick (185 defense) in facedown defense position and Phantom OG (155 attack) in attack position. Player 2 has a High Clops (175 attack) in attack position.
Player 2 declares an attack on Player 1’s Phantom OG. Player 2 plays Magnet on The Brick saving their Phantom OG, making their opponent lose pounds, and “Bricking out” their opponent’s CannaBeast for 2 turns.

Any situation you will benefit from switching your opponent’s attack.
Any strong defensive CannaBeast.
