Berserker Warrior (STASH 3 / STONER)

What’s good Stonerds?  The Berserker Warrior, one of the most fun cards to play in my opinion, doesn’t start off with much.  With a base attack of 125 you wouldn’t think much of ole B-Dub here until you take a closer look.  Berserker Warrior’s ability Each time this card destroys a CannaBeast by battle, increase its attack by 50,” is one of the best abilities in the game.  The potential of this card is sky high, if you keep Berserker Warrior on the field the whole game theoretically every turn you could increase its attack by 50.

A great starting combo, if you’re lucky enough to get it in your hand, is pairing a Berserker Warrior with a Light Up or Danksgiving Roast.  That boost of 50 pushes Berserker Warrior up to 175, which can be a monster in the early game.  Defeat one of your opponents CannaBeasts and it’s buffed another 50 to 225, which early game without tributing for it can put you in a good position to take over.

An awesome strategy that can tough to pull off, but in a situation where your Berserker Warrior is so close but just can’t square up against your opponent’s Beast, may get you to the point you need.  Sometimes you must look to your own field.  If you have an Aphids in face down defensive mode but know your opponent is going to attack your Berserker Warrior next turn, attack your own Aphid to send one of your opponent’s Beasts to the ashtray while buffing your Berserker another 50.  Sometimes even just that extra 50 of defeating your own Beast can be enough to get your Berserker Warrior back to the top. 

A Stoner Stash is where this card really shines, with the array of boosts for Stoners load your Berserker Warrior up and steamroll almost anything your opponent has.

 

Berserker Warrior: Pairs well with

Cannabloom: Select one CannaBeast on your side of the field, this card will gain 30 attack until the turn is ended.  (Ambush, Stash 1)

Danksgiving Roast: Attach this roast to any Stoner you control on the field to gain 50 attack & 50 defense. (Nutrient, Stash1)

Light Up: Equip one Stoner with this card and as long as this card is on the field the selected Stoner gains 50 attack. When the Stoner leaves the field, send this card to the ashtray. (Nutrient, Stash 3)

Santa’s Smoke Shop: All Stoner cards you control gain 30 attack until the end of this turn (Nutrient, Stash 1)
