Golden State Banana (STASH 1 / NUTRIENT)
Hey there Stonerds! One of my favorite cards, the Golden State Banana (GSB), is one of the strongest Nutrient cards in CannaBeasts. GSB’s effect “Transplant 1 concentrate CannaBeast from your hand to the field. You can't plant a CannaBeast the turn this card is activated,” gives you the opportunity to plant a multi tribute CannaBeast for just the cost of playing this card. Get that Mad Shatter out on the field without having to tribute 2 of your Beasts and wreak havoc.
GSB can be combined with a couple different cards to give it that extra wallop. What pairs better with a free planting of a tribute Beast than using a Relighting Roach and bringing another one back from the ashtray? Play 2 Moon Rocks in one turn this way and short of Northern Lights or Heat Wave that upper hand will stay yours. Throw a couple Cloud Nines in there and be able to dig through your Stash to find that Concentrate you really want to play.
GSB being a promo card with a print run of 125 makes this a tough call to play in person. Currently there’s no mention about an additional printing or inclusion into 1st edition or beyond, the Tabletop Simulator mod is the place to play around with this bad boy.

Concentrates are the least populous card types in CannaBeast currently not including the recent addition of Fungi cards. Right now there’s only one buff card that’s strictly for Concentrates, Resin Coal (Ambush, Stash 1), which increases one Concentrate Beast by 50 for one turn but requires you to send it to the ashtray after. Which isn’t a good trade off in my opinion.
