What’s going on Stonerds? One of the many useful Nutrient cards released with the Winter Blazed set, Charlie Tree. Charlie Tree is a solid Nutrient card, it’s ability “The player who has the highest amount of pounds loses 100 pounds and the other player gains 100 pounds. If it's a tie, both players lose 100 pounds,” adds an interesting take with adding pounds giving you a few different scenarios to play it.
Charlie Tree won’t necessarily be helpful every time you end up with it in your hand, if drawn when you have a healthy lead over your opponent you most likely won’t want to play it. In these situations, Charlie Tree will work best in a Stash with a few different ‘discard’ cards that you can discard other cards to play their effects like Bud Buster or Binks and Billy.
Charlie Tree can be used in some different ways, get creative with it and use it to maximum effect playing off your current strategy. If you and your opponent are tied and you have a open shot to attack your opponent’s pounds you may want to have both of you lose pounds before you take a lead and take away the cards benefit for you. If you’re both at 200 pounds, knock both of you down to 100, and can then open attack this could be a card that closes the game out for you.
