Card of the Day 2/01

Skywalker OG (STASH 3 / HYBRID CB)

Alrighty Stonerds!  Skywalker OG, one of my favorite cards from the Kickstarter set and an early favorite for many due to its inclusion in the Exotic Kickstarter Stashes.  A 2 tribute CannaBeast with 280 base attack Skywalker OG is well worth the sacrifice to plant it on the field. 

Skywalker OG is a great CannaBeast to build a top-heavy Hybrid Stash around.  You don’t know the power of the dark side until you’ve stacked a few Humic Acids buffing your Skywalker OG.  You can get your Skywalker up to 370 attack with 3 Humic Acids, you’re almost guaranteed to force choke your opponent.  Being a 2 tribute CannaBeast it may be tough to rely solely on the power of your Skywalker, pair him up with a 1 tribute Hybrid like Diablo OG as your Grand Admiral for galactic potential.

If you have the right cards in your hand you can play Skywalker OG, or any CannaBeast > 19% THC , without having to tribute.

Ideal Scenario: Player 1 has Bud Buster, Relighting Roach, High Clops (175 attack), and Skywalker OG in their hand and nothing on the field.  Player 2 has Ghost Rider OG (160 attack) and a reverse roll on the field revealed earlier with a No Boost.

Player 1 plays Bud Buster, discarding Skywalker OG to destroy Player 2’s Ghost Rider.  Player 1 plays Relighting Roach to bring Skywalker OG back onto the field, safe from being destroyed by Reverse Roll and without having to tribute 2 Beasts.

Skywalker OG: Pairs well with

Humic Acid: As long as this card remains on the field, all Hybrid CannaBeasts you control gain 30 attack and 30 defense. (Nutrient, Stash 3)
